She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Muise and Jennie Muise (Richards); and her siblings, John C. Muise Jr. and Mary Sullivan (James L. Sullivan Jr.). She is survived by: her sons, Timothy (Karen), Christopher (Amy) and Casey (Michelle); her grandchildren, Holly, Hannah, Trevor, Evan and Nora; and her nephew James L. Sullivan III (Jeannie).

In lieu of flowers, donate to the Humane Society in Anita's name.

“Anita was truly a one in a million. During her time at Big Y, she became a close friend and second Grandma to me. I will always cherish our lunch outings, our walks around Mystic Village and the time spent doing puzzles with Suzy and Missy. I truly miss hearing her stories every Tues morning at work. Anyone would be blessed to have someone like Anita in their lives. Her gentle and kind soul hold a special place in my heart. I wish her family peace and comfort during this difficult time.”
