He is survived by: his fiancé Michele Beland Speer of Norwalk; his children, Grant Smith of Stamford and Alix Sleeper (Aaron) of Limington, ME; his grandchildren, Corbin, Emma and Liam; and his siblings, Thomas Smith of Stamford and Michele Mira of Stamford.
