He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kijek and Regina Bobinski Kijek; and his brother Jerome Kijek (Jerry). He is survived by: his wife Myra Kreiman Kijek; his brother Martin Kijek; his nieces, Gina Kijek and Melanie Roofe (Patrick); his sister-in-law Esther Cerbone Kijek; and his cousin Sandra Kijek-Schult (Allen).
