He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sue" Felder Dempsey; his mother Helen Gregor Dempsey; his daughter Katheryn Dempsey; his grandchildren, Grace of Ocala, Florida. and Elijah of Ocala, Florida.; his brother Greg Dempsey (Meg) of Stamford; his nieces and nephews, Kim, Helen and Will; and also Margaret Chernek.
