We bid farewell to Thomas F. DeMott Jr. of Stamford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. DeMott, Sr. and Antoinette Bivona DeMott. He is survived by: his wife Judith Remson DeMott; his children, Christopher DeMott, Sandra and Teresa "Terri" DeMott-Pace (Robbie); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob and Ciara; his siblings, Daniel DeMott, Salvatore DeMott (Linda) and Marianne Fitzgerald (Bill); his aunt Anna Simonetti; his close friend Judy; and his children, Ranson and W. Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Cecilia (1184 Newfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06905).
