It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Bovier Witt of Stamford, Connecticut, born in Towanda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph F. Bovier and Alice Patterson Bovier; and her husband Bob. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Gueritey (Dot) of Marco Island, FL; her children, Ronald Witt of Stamford, Robert Witt of Norwalk and Robin Witt Allen (Matthew) of Wilton; and her grandchildren, Connor, Caitlin and Courtney Allen of Wilton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Ruth and her contributions to the community, a charitable legacy fund has beenestablished at the New Canaan Community Foundation.
