He was predeceased by: his parents, Christos Nanos and Georgia Maglanis Nanos; his wife Thamie; his brother Athanasios; his great grandchild Hailey; and his brother-in-law George Koutsoukos.

He is survived by: his children, Janine Soulios (Nikolaos) of Stamford, Christopher Nanos (Pamela) of Stamford and Paul Nanos (Tracey) of Farmington; his siblings, Aimilia Koutsoukos of Greece, Theodore Nanos (Mahi) and Apostolos Nanos (Debbie); his sisters-in-law, Penny Nanos of Stamford and Elaine Katsaros (George) of Mamaroneck, NY.; his grandchildren, Christina, Alexis, Jennifer (Ashley) of Peter, TJ, Mia Nanos, Tricia Bletsas (Alex) and Michael Goulet (LeAnn); and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Madison, Christopher, Deangelo and Lilah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
