He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Loughran and Mary Ellen Loughran; and his siblings, Catherine, Patrick, John, James and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Drenckhahn; his children, Helen, Luke, Peter and Ann Van Gessel; his grandchildren, Brendan, Margaret and Kathleen; his children, John and Amanda Wolf; his grandchildren, Brooke, Mackenzie and Jake; his daughter Barbara Loughran; his grandsons, Sean and Daniel McLoughlin; his children, Terrence and Deborah Meck; his grandchildren, Katherine, Ryan, Kelly and Andrew; his children, Dr. Timothy and Dr. Diane Turcot; his grandchildren, Gabriella, Audrey, Charles and Justin; and his cousin Jimmy Mallon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo Parish (24 Roxbury Rd, Stamford, CT 06902).
