We bid farewell to Paul A. Pitman of Stamford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Pitman and Marion Slade Pitman; and his sister Barbara Maroldi. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pitman; his stepchildren, John Anzalone (Wendy) of Naples, FL and Deborah Esposito (Tony); his grandchildren, Nicole D'Agostino (Nick) of Naugatuck, CT, Tommaso Esposito of Seymour, CT and Nicholas Anzalone of Tampa, FL.; and his nieces and nephews, Janyce Velotti (Fred) of Tennessee, Lynn Caraglior (Jay) of Kentucky, Michael Velotti and Christopher Velotti of Tennessee.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Stanwich Congregational Church (202 Taconic Rd, Greenwich, CT 06831).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Paul's memory to the Stamford EMS Service, 684 Long Ridge Rd, Stamford, CT 06902.
