She was predeceased by: her father Michael P. Lanuk, Sr.; and her niece Tiffany Kopesky. She is survived by: her mother Regina Lanuk; her siblings, Paul Lanuk, Renee Kopesky, Yvonne Howland and Michael Lanuk, Jr.; her husband Gary J. Cortese, Sr.; her stepchildren, Gary J. Cortese, Jr. (Valarie), John Cortese (Susan), Marianne Burriesci (Joseph), Peter Cortese and Stephen Cortese (Marie-Laure); her sister-in-law Rose Marie DeVito (Jack); and her nieces and nephews, John DeVito III (Maria), Dayna Gartland, Walter Kopesky, Robert Howland, Jr., Daniel Howland, Michael Lanuk III and Alexis Johannessen. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
