He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ferro and Rose Ferro (Rubino); and his brother Anthony "Chic" Ferro. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann DeLeo; his children, Michael Jr. "Mickey" (Bonnie) and Sally Lewis Diane (Rick); his grandchildren, Lynnae Monti (Dean), Michael Ferro, III (Emily), Michelle Esposito (John), Robert Lewis (Traci), Theresa Ferro, Christine Lewis, Elise and John Giannattasio, Jr.; and his siblings, Samuel "Sonny" Ferro, Christine DeMaio, Mary Grace McMahon and Ann Rose Labozzo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation (453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (566 Elm St, Stamford, CT 06902).
