Though Mathurine Huguette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mathurine Huguette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gabai; her parents, Ferdinand Barberousse and Genevieve Duclos Barberousse; and her brother Jean Barberousse. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Holinko (Doug); her grandchildren, Melissa White (Trevor), Stephanie Gottschalk (Tommy) and Jeffrey Holinko (Rachel Harrington); and her great grandchildren, Nicholas and James White. She is also survived by several brothers in law and sisters in law, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:15 PM at the same location.
