It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha McCully Cobbs of Stamford, Connecticut, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Ware Cobbs; and her brother Arthur M. McCully (Sandy). She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth (Philip Green) of Arlington, VA, James (Jill Stauffer Cobbs) of Greenwich and Martha (Dennis Sullivan) of Eaton, NH; her grandchildren, Joshua Green Justin (Aisha Alfa) and Alexandra Green (Brian Barnette); her children, Lucy, Henry Cobbs, Henney and Nicholas Sullivan; her great grandchildren, Sule and Saida Alfa-Green; her grandchildren, Wilder, Inigo Green, Oliver, Eliza and Colby Barnette; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Cobbs Brown of Greenwich and Helen McCully Dixon (Bruce) of Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Planned Parenthood would be welcomed.
