She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Eric Despres of Canada; her husband Frederick Bova of Stamford; her sons, Anthony Bova of Stamford and Michael (Barbara Bova) of Cheshire; her siblings, Barry, Jerry, Logan, Lloyd Despres, Norman (Deanne) and Elva Brunch; her grandson Benedict Bova; and her mother Alice Beatrice Randall. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory (104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Ireland Church (278 Strawberry Hill Ave, Stamford, CT 06902).
