It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hyacinth Wellington (Stamford, Connecticut), who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin M. Wellington; her sister Theresa Fender; and her mother Hyacinth Dockery. She is survived by: her children, Hyacinth Dockery and Alvin L. Wellington; her wife Ruthie A. Smith of Stamford; and also Michael O. Wellington of Stamford. She is also survived by two granddaughters; a great grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Church, 1231 Washington Blvd., Stamford CT 06902.
