He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsa Vogelbacher-Herr and Alfred Herr. He is survived by: his wife Sara L. Herr of Stamford; his children, Yolanda S. Herr (Michael) of Stamford and Dietmar Stich of Lenzkirch; his grandchildren, Gary O. Benson, III, Dylan N. Benson, Maximus V., Cacciotti, Sinah and Janice Waldvogel; and also Cacciotti of Stamford.
