Georgia T. Tournas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia T. Tournas of Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ioannis Louridas; her husband Theodoros E. Tournas; and her daughters, Irini Giangos and Vaso Tsihlis. She is survived by: her daughters, Eleni Tournas (Peter) and Joann Rassias; her son-in-law Bobby Giangos; her grandchildren, Dennis Rassias (Irene), Voula Varnavelias (Nick), Chris Tsihlis, Angela Frazis (Demetrios), Evangelia Tsihlis (Christos), Dimitrios Tournas, Anthony Giangos (Karina) and Theodoros Giangos; and her sisters, Elizabeth Dimopoulos and Eleni Arvanitis. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Georgia's memory to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905.
