He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Bobo, Sr. and Sophia Elizabeth Hoffman; and his brother Thomas M. Hoffman, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth; his daughter Lore Roundtree; his stepdaughters, Brenda J. Rivera and Marion Gorham; his nephews, Thomas M. Hoffman, Jr. and Peter M. Hoffman; and his niece Regina E. Phipps. He is also survived by grandchildren, (16) great grandchildren, (2) great- great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
