Emily Mary Kurpiel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Mary Kurpiel (Stamford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emily Mary Kurpiel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zajac and Mary Poltrack Zajac; her husband Chester Kurpiel; her stepbrother Edward F. Bankowski, Sr.; her nephew Edward F. Bankowski, Jr.; her sister Frances Ostrosky; her niece Patricia Cavanaugh; and her great-niece Linda Zajkowski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Adams (Elmer Adams) of Trumbull and Teresa Sokolowski (Michael Hepp) of Naugatuck. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation (453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Church (325 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT 06902).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Emily's memory to the Holy Name of Jesus Church Restoration Fund (mailed to: Holy Name of Jesus Church, 325 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, CT 06902).
