Shamsid-Deen (Sanders); her children, Aaliyah Shamsid-Deen and Ismail Shamsid-Deen, Sr.; her grandchildren, Amani Thornton, Diamond Shamsid-Deen, Jahmani Thornton, Nasir Thornton and Ismail Shamsid-Deen, Jr.; her sisters, Shakura "Diane" Bàth and Elder Sandra Worsley; her brother-in-law Deacon James R. Sanders; and her godchildren, Keisha Nelson and Leroy Gee, Jr..
