He was predeceased by: his wife Dana; his parents, John Zeiss and Marion Zeiss; his brothers, John and Peter Zeiss; and also, Ellsworth and JoAnne Benson.
He is survived by: his children, Erik Zeiss of Stamford, Bryan, Jennifer Zeiss of East Haven, Morgan Zeiss and Michael Belaineh of Boynton Beach, FL.; his siblings, Alicia Boccuzzi of Danbury, CT and Paul (Kathy Zeiss); his sister-in-law Heather Benson of Stamford, CT.; and his grandchildren, Ava Cohen, Kaleb Belaineh and Madelyn Zeiss.
