James Kidd Obituary
The passing of James Kidd (Stafford, Connecticut), born in Ashford, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Kidd and Gladys Helen Olender Kidd; and his son Jeffrey Kidd. He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Kidd; his children, Jim (Carol Kidd), Steve (Denise Kidd), Bill (Pam Phelan), Lupacchino (Tracy Longoria) and Lisa Lupacchino-Gilson (Michael Gilson); and his grandchildren, James, Mary, Zak, Jaimee, Maddie, Abby, Aidan, Calla, Sawyer, Michael and Kelly. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and his many dear cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). The military honors was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the West Stafford Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Vernon (695 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066).
