He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert G. Lanagan and Mary Lanagan (Bonneau); his former wife Judy Lanagan (Young); his son Robert G. Lanagan, Jr.; and his siblings, Albert, George Lanagan, Rita Dreisch, Lillian Kelley and Dorothy Baxter.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Lanagan (Sweeney); his grandsons, Jesse Lanagan (Kristen) and Justin Lanagan (Jamie Grant); and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Tyler, Mackenzie, Ethan and Magnolia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to a children's charity of choice.
