She was predeceased by: her parent Dennis Haggerty. She is survived by: her parent Catherine Haggerty (Johnson); her husband Richard P. Dobson Sr.; her children, Catherine Charest (Raymond) of Mont Vernon and Richard P. Dobson Jr. of Stafford Springs; her grandchildren, Julia Charest and Ryan Charest; her sibling Dennis Haggerty Jr.; her wife Earla Haggerty of Clinton; and also Mary Haggerty of Brunswick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Stafford Library Association, 10 Levinthal Run, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
