She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward, Sr. Smaha and Gertrude Smaha (Partridge); and her close friend Joseph Uchneat. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Smaha, Jr. of Enfield and Elizabeth Smaha of Anchorage, Alaska; and her nephew Edward Smaha, III of Somers.
