He was predeceased by: his parents, John Emhoff and Mary Emhoff (Tadler); and his wife Nancy Emhoff (Fontanella). He is survived by: his children, James P. Emhoff, Jr. (Nicolle), Lisa M. Szestowicki (Steven) and Michael J. Emhoff (AnnMarie); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren, John, Owen, Meah, Derick, Carolyn, Gracie and Johnny; his great grandchild Ashton; and his brother Henry Emhoff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
