He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean E. Hunt (Butler); his parents, Johnathan Hunt and Rebecca Hunt (Dunham); his son Edward Hunt; and his granddaughter Rebecca Normandin.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Carroll (Bill Alpi), Laurie Skoglund (Steve), Brenda Willis (Dan) and Gary Hunt; and his grandchildren, Christine, Melissa, Jeffrey, Austin, Brooke, Gary, Dylan, Justin and Liam. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
