She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bessette (Jean) and Frances Knoff; and her son Richard "Ricky" Loalbo. She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Hoffman (Randy); her daughter-in-law Desiree Gauthier; her grandchildren, Christopher, Dominick, Aubrey, Mason, Destiny, Khloe and Nick; and her siblings, Debbie Parr, Wayne Bessette (Karen), Susan Corey (Alan), Steve Folino and Lisa Folino. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Doreen had a love for her dogs, in appreciation of that, donations in her name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
