She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Richens, Jr.; her parents, Howard Crandall and Edith Crandall (Ryan); and her sisters, Jean Barton and Elaine Scussel.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Richens and Nancy Richens (Al Kazokas, Jr.); her stepgrandson Al Kazokas, III (Melissa); her sister Shirley Salisbury; and also Liam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, 197 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
