He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby E. Smith (Frink) and Francis B. Smith; and his siblings, Geraldine R. Poirier and Barry F. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Arlene R.; his children, Sondra L. Lacaire (Scott) of West Brookfield, MA, Shelby L. Smith of Sanford, ME and Shannon L. Smith (Katy) of Vernon, CT.; his siblings-in-law, Joseph E. Poirier and Francine A. Smith; and his grandchildren, Lauren Vayda (Matt), Charlotte, Ethan Lacaire, Lukas Smith, Logan Smith and Jakob Smith.
