She was predeceased by: her son Michael; her significant other Michael Terry O'Heare; and her sisters, Evelyn Fisher, Ruth Guerra and Mary Kush.

She is survived by: her spouse Melvin "Bud" Burkey of South Fork, PA; her stepchildren, Michael O'Heare of Lebanon, PA and Holly O'Heare of Glastonbury, CT.; and her brother Roy Richardson of New Florence, PA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and a great, great grandchild.
