It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winifred L. Messner of Southington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Leupold and Albertina Leupold (Baumgartner); her husband Bill; her grandson Daniel Szabat; and her siblings, Florence Haas, Herbert, Ernest and Richard Leupold.
She is survived by: her sons, David Messner (Kathy) and Thomas Messner (Carol); her grandson Christopher Messner (Michiela); and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Eiryn, Morgan, Christa, Declan and Vincent. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
