He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie Maguire (Toole); his parents, William J. Maguire and Nora E. Maguire (Dwyer); his sons, Dennis Maguire, Joseph Maguire and John Maguire; and his siblings, James Maguire and Margaret "Peg" Donnelly.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. William Maguire (C. P.) and Marianne Szarkowicz (Tom) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Michael, Andrea (Nick), Thomas and Mary; his daughter Susan Maguire of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Samantha, William, Joseph, Sean and A'leah; his daughter-in-law Christine Maguire of Naugatuck; his grandchildren-in-law, Jessica (Christian) and Ryan; his sisters, Kathleen DeMatteo (Carl) and Mary Finlay; and his siblings-in-law, Toni Maguire and Ray Donnelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
