With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Petrovits of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Janis Petrovits; and his mother Hungarian Dobosh Torte. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Colpitts (Robert Colpitts) of Schenectady, NY and John Petrovits (Sharon Morel) of Coventry, CT; his grandchildren, Scott Petrovits (Jessica Petrovits), Jennifer Silver (Damion Silver), Erin Colpitts, Ryan Colpitts, Jessica Morel (Joshua Turbyfill) and Colin Morel (Florencia Morel); his great grandchildren, Zuri Silver, Ashton Turbyfill, Harper Turbyfill, Bailey Turbyfill, Liam Morel and Lily Morel; and his sister-in-law Sandra Hills.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Bill's memory by carrying forward the traditions you hold dear, baking something special with those you love, and finding joy in the small, beautiful moments of life, just as he did.
