Walter J. Kuhr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter J. Kuhr of Southington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter J. Kuhr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Kuhr and Johanna Kuhr (Richter); his daughter Heather Lynn Kuhr; his siblings, Frederick Kuhr and Loretta Miron; and his brothers-in-law, Francis "Shy" Miron and Michael Bittner.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Kuhr (Blair); his sons, Kevin Kuhr of East Hampton and Gregory Kuhr (Veronica) of Avon; his grandchildren, Gabriella and Benjamin; his sister Heidi Bittner of Southington; and his sisters-in-law, Elke Kuhr, Marilyn Miller (Frank) of Southington and Susan Hoban (James) of Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (154 Meadow St, Bristol, CT 06010). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
