He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rich and Carmella Rich (DeAngelo); and his siblings, Irene Sorensen, Louis Rich Jr. and Robert Rich.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rich (Brassley); his children, Debra Fitting (Thomas) of Niantic, Stephen J. Rich Jr. (Cheryl) of Las Vegas, NV and Robert Rich (Sandra Griswold); his grandchildren, Sarah Rich, Karen Rich, Ethan Fitting and Roman Rich; his siblings, Lois White (Cliff) of Kensington and Neil Rich (Melissa) of Wethersfield; his stepmother Antoinette Rich of Wethersfield; and his siblings-in-law, James Sorensen, Patricia Rich and Raymond (Linda Brassley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.
Due to Corona Pandemic Funeral services and burial will be private and a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
