She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Palka and Zofia Palka (Maziarz); and her husband Emil Herdzik. She is survived by: her daughters, Wioletta Marchut (Grzegorz Marchut) and Anna Wardzala (Wojciech Wardzala); her grandchildren, Wiktoria, Oliwia, Emily and Anthony; and her sisters, Danuta Kusmider (Zbigniew) and Maria Surowaniec (Jozef). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
