With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sandra Nigro of Southington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sandra left this world on March 15, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphy Dubois and Dorilda Dubois (Laferriere); and her siblings, Gordon Dubois, Rena Charette and Karen Hubeny.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony Nigro; her daughter Kristen Nigro of Plainville; and her siblings, Joseph Dubois of Holyoke, MA, Judy Giusto (Michael) of Naugatuck and Beulah Celella of Southington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home (211 N Main St, Southington, CT 06489). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Aloysius Church (254 Burritt St, Plantsville, CT 06479).
