She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hanson and Catherine Hanson (Baker); her husband George P. Griffin; her siblings, Stanley, Edward, Carl Hanson and Marie Venter; and her great grandchild River.

She is survived by: her children, David P. Griffin (Deborah) of Danvers, MA, Patrick Griffin (Denise Rose) of Winsted, Susan A. Griffin of Southington, Terrance J. Griffin (Judy Germano) and Cynthia Griffin (Gary Szlachetka); and her grandchildren, Ben Flis, Rebecca Ballard, Philein Griffin, Tory Griffin, Shawn Griffin, Jasmine Folan, TJ Griffin, Hattie Griffin, Nena Greene and Corinna Schumacher. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
