The passing of Richard O. Suiter of Southington, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Suiter and Marie Suiter (Olsen); his wife Dolores Suiter (Freire); his son David Marc Suiter; his daughter-in-law Selya Gomez; and his siblings, Howard Suiter, William Suiter, Carl Suiter, Donald Suiter (Esther) and Marie Duff (Arthur).
He is survived by: his pets, Jake, Fiona and Hannah; his children, Richard "Rick" O. Suiter Jr. and Linda Suiter of Southington; his grandson Robert Gomez (Roxanne); his great grandchild Jacob of California; his sister Alice Petersen of Lebanon; and his sister-in-law Joan Suiter of Burlington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). The military honors will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
