He was predeceased by: his wife Edda Mastroianni; his parents, Pasquale Mastroianni and Vincenza Carbone; and his siblings, Antonio, Stefano, Giuseppe, Antonietta and Palmina.
He is survived by: his son Pasquale "Pat" Mastroianni (Vira) of Plantsville; his grandchildren, RJ Mastroianni (Emily), Nicholas Mastroianni and Amanda Manion (Benjamin); and his siblings, Giovanni Mastroianni (Alfonsina), Beatrice Derienzo (Salvatore) of Canada and Teresa Cusano of Italy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Italy, he was a farmer and shepherd, which served as a foundation at his home in Southington.
