She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Gifford and Beatrice Gifford (Lebeau); her husband William A. Smith; and her son William J. A. Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Smith (Ella) and Scott Smith (Kelly); her grandchildren, Zachary, Billy, Keegan, Brenna and Kathryn; and her sisters, Judy Gauvin and Carol Crookes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
