She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shea and Virginia Shea (Newell); her husband Butch; and her stepson Joseph Zawisza. She is survived by: her children, Chad Zawisza of Tolland, CT and Tara Satkowski of Westfield, MA; her grandchildren, Mia and Jake; her siblings, Daniel Shea (Trudy), Jacci Wagner (Jay) and Samantha Steeves; her stepson Robert Zawisza (Hope) of Winsted; her stepgrandsons, Joseph, Michael, Zachary, Dylan and Colton; and her stepsiblings, Richard Pratt, Roger Pratt (Sandy) and Lin Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (175 South End Rd, Southington, CT 06489).
