“Mrs DeAngelo, I know it’s been awhile since Mike’s passing, but for what ever reason I was thinking about guys I was in basic training with at Fort Jackson in the beginning of 1967.Mike was one of those guys that could make you laugh and was fun to be around. I knew he was from Southington and always planned to get in touch with him but life gets in the way. I believe from the write up in the obituary it was Mike I knew from Basic. Anyway, I am so sorry to see that Mike passed away. John B.”
