Merlon Monson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlon Monson of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Monson and Irene Monson (Thibodeau); and his grandson Taylor Altwies. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Monson (Green) of Southington; his children, Valerie Paradis (Michael) of West Suffield, Kristin Altwies (Justin) of Southington, Michael Monson (Kathy) and Kimberly Jones (Ken) of Freemont, NH; his grandchildren, Shane, Michael, Madison, Jessica, Hallie and Jake; and his stepbrother Winn Tarbox (Shirley) of Wolcott.

Memorial donations may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave, Meriden, CT 06450.
