He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith (Coutermash); his children, Shawn Torchia of Waterbury and Geoffrey Smith (Debby) of Southington; his grandsons, Mathew Torchia (Cassandra) of Waterbury, Joseph Torchia (Emily) of Meriden and Lyle Smith (Valerie) of Texas; and his great grandchildren, Malvagio Torchia, Santoroso Torchia, Madison Smith, Mallory Smith, Libby Smith and June Smith.
