He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Hurd and Evelyn Hurd (Fitzmaurice). He is survived by: his wife Betty Hurd (Kohl); his sons, Jeffrey Hurd (Francine) and Kenneth Hurd (Christine); his stepdaughters, Diane Roy and Kathy Sands (Don); and his sister Rachel Raven.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home (211 N Main St, Southington, CT 06489).
