He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Burns; his wife Theresa Collin (McCarthy); his daughter Kelly A. Collin; and his grandparents, Paul Collin, Stanley and Helen Kaczynski.

He is survived by: his father Luc J. Collin (Diane) of Sebring, FL; his grandmother Normande Collin of New Britain; and his siblings, Kimberly Mastromarino (Dana) of Southington and Keith Collin (Cindy) of Wallingford. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles.
