It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin M. Butler (Southington, Connecticut), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Butler and Theresa Butler (Breen); his son Christopher Butler; his brother John Butler; and his brother-in-law Douglas Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Darleen Butler (Holden); his daughter Kelsey Butler (Amanda Richardson) of Beacon Falls; his granddaughter Kaia Butler; his sisters, Maureen Spencer of Middletown and Barbara Jones (Brian) of Bristol; his nieces and nephews, Sean, Cody, Tyler, Austin, Shannon, Krystal, Megan and Taylor (Dave); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Oliver, Carter, Mason, Grayson, Abby and Mallory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the State Veteran's Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
