With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth R. Stakey of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stakey and Lydia Stakey (Malcein); his wife Lucy Stakey (Berarducci); and his brother William Stakey. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Dudac and Clifford Stakey (Lorna); his grandchildren, Anna Dudac (Tomas Rossi), Andrew Dudac, Kyle Stakey and Gavin Stakey; his great grandchild Mason Parise; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Stakey, Claudia Berarducci and Judy Berarducci. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Plantsville Funeral Home (975 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479). The military honors was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Upcoming Services Funeral Service.
